Non- surgical Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) involves injecting Sculptra or dermal fillers into the buttocks to contour, reshape and volumise the buttocks as desired. These are great alternatives to surgery and ideal for patients who do not want to go under the knife or those who don't want a general anaesthetic.
Scuptra stimulates collagen production, tightening the buttocks over time, whilst HYAcorp MLF2 is a dermal filler that volumises and reshapes the buttocks.
Non-surgical Butt Lift with Sculptra - FAQs:
What is Sculptra®?
Sculptra® comes as a powder which is made up of Microparticles of poly-L-lactic acid. It is injected into the buttocks as a solution and as the saline in the solution is absorbed over the first one to two days, the micro-particles in Sculptra® (poly-L-lactic acid) start acting to stimulate the production of collagen. Sculptra® tightens the skin, lifting the buttocks. Working over time, it adds volume slowly and is longer lasting than filler.
What does the treatment involve?
A topical anaesthetic is used to numb the area for 30 minutes. Once the numbing cream takes effect, Sculptra® is mixed with saline and then injected into the desired area. Multiple injections are usually required to get adequate dispersion of product. Following this, the buttocks are massaged to ensure even distribution.
How much downtime is there post-procedure?
There is slight discomfort to be expected but no downtime post-procedure.
How much Sculptra® will I need?
This depends on the individual and their needs. Most individuals need 1-2 sessions however, up to six sessions, four weeks apart may be needed to achieve desired results.
When will I see results?
It can take 2-4 weeks to start noticing results, but due to the mechanism of action, Sculptra® can take up to 3-6 months to reach significant, maximal effect.
As Sculptra® adds volume slowly, it should not be used in clients wanting immediate results.
How long does it last?
Studies have consistently shown that results last between 2 to 5 years.
What are the advantages of Sculptra® over Surgical options?

Takes approximately 30 minutes
Subtle, gradual and natural looking results
Great for lean clients who want a fuller, shapely derriere.
Procedure can be accomplished in as little as 20-40 minutes

Are there any potential side effects?
Sculptra® relies on the ability of the body to form collagen so results vary from person to person. The most common side effect are bruising at the site due to the cannula used. There is a small chance of lump formation after injection of Sculptra but these are rarely noticeable. There is also a chance of forming small nodules with Sculptra® though these are rarely visible and can be palpated and slowly disintegrate over time. Infection is very rare. Rarer still are other complications such as nerve damage and anaphylaxis.
How much does it cost?
£280 per vial. Multiple vials are often required per session. During your consultation, your Clinician will discuss your treatment goals and how many vials and sessions will be required to achieve these.
